Coral Dead?

I purchased a special Rainbow Acan frag from my LFS it's been almost a week and still hasn't opened, is it dead already? :( all my other corals are open and happy

It honestly looks perfectly fine. It seemed to be a fresh frag of a single polyp so it's pretty much open. They like occasional feedings too.

I bought a single polyp frag and it took a couple weeks for it to acclimate and really extend. Here's a pic of what it looks like now that it's happy but it looked like yours for a bit.

Ok awesome thanks just got very worried it was a very special and expensive piece

They are carnivorous. Blow in some brine shrimp or micro pellets. More they eat the faster they grow
