I just got some palythoa coral and wondered what happens if it dies or stress in my aquarium? I through some carbon in to remove any toxins so any thougths please hurry I am realy stressed

I have a colony of green palys and I’ve randomly poked them and made them angry on accident before…no ill effects have ever occurred…I’ve also had them die in my tank, every thing was fine, I wouldn’t say it’s something to lose sleep over

they are a light pink and then green in the middle got them about 2 hours ago about 6 heads.

okay thanks will high flow and low light kill them

your welcome! I keep mine right in front of the filter output…so they get super high flow. And they are doing great. Although I’m not sure how much lower light would affect them.

they are light brown and then green in the middle are they toxic

Unless you are actively smashing them INSIDE the tank….i wouldn’t be worried, it’s definitely not something you need to lose sleep over.

thank alot you were the only pperson who helped me out. Thank you very much you made me calm

Not sure if your questions are serious or if you’re fooling us? Millions of people in this hobby for many decades, most have had pallys, have you googled any deaths ever? Have you googled any bad experiences? Maybe a handful, out of millions through decades of the hobby. Pally toxin is not developed to harm people it is made to harm corals, most human negative experience is from allergy or individual biology. Fish will not die. Your questions are overblown IMO

If you’re really that concerned then don’t keep pallys. 2 out of three of my tanks have no pallys, it’s very easy to have a tank without pallys there are so many other choices.

no like it dies in my tank and will my livestock die?
