Coral dipping advice

I have 7 corals coming next Wednesday and it will be my first corals I've dipped. Getting a bit nervous and was hoping for any advice to help me through, ive watched several videos and get alot of contradictions as it is with thhis hobby. Coming is a Duncan, 2 zoas, a mushroom, a monty setosa, a candy cane, and a favia. I have reef rx and seachem reef dip coral disinfectant. One video from wwc says to wait 24hrs to dip and just put them in your display.if so i could just put them in my sump and take my time dipping, after acclimating. I probably over ordered but that free shipping hooked me.

If you feel the need to dip which is a good idea I would not add them to my tank or sump then removed them a day later to dip. That would defeat the purpose of dipping. I dip acros right out of the shipping bag but i don't have experience dipping LPS or softies.

Get some CoralRX and follow the instructions. I've dipped SPS, LPS, and softies with no issues. I think the instructions say 5-10 minutes dipped. I usually do 5 min, rinse, then another 5 min dip, then rinse again before I add them.

As others have mentioned, follow the instructions on the dip you will be using. I dip pretty much right out of the box, although sometimes I’ll float the bags in the sump to temp acclimate while I prepare the dip and rinse bins

I do not know why anyone would recommend in to the display first.

They go from the shipping jars they come in, into a Revive dip for 7 minutes, twisted/shaken in the dip at the end, and then in to my tank. I've not had any issues with this method.
