Coral dipping chaeto?

I'm thinking about adding some cheato to my frag tank, but I'm overly worried about bringing in pests. Has anyone dipped cheato in a coral dip like coral rx or even bayer? I absolutely despise flatworms and don't want to bring in any other pests. Am I being a bit extreme?

Ha, no you're not going overboard. Red Flatworms definitely can live in fuges, so macros can house them. I'd try to get it from a trusted source if you can. Dipping is A OK; I've done it.

Definitely use a flatworm medication on it. Overdose has no ill effect from my experience.

I dipped mine in freshwater for 15 mins.
