New to the hobby and just got myself a FULL Nano tank mixed. SPS and LPS familiar with all the parameters ect. take has been cycled for over 6 months.

But my question is, Is there a way to make the coral/frag moveable in the future if after mounting it doesn't do well or needs to move? is there an easy way to do this? or just really plan it all out and wait to place them until i know for sure how i want it laid out?

Plugs serve this very purpose but you can also mount on rubble in which you can move the entire rubble rock piece easily

if the stick portion of plug dosent fit in/on rock just snap it off and use plug plate to glue that down? then on encrusting corals just SOL lol?

Frag racks help a lot with this. If you get transparent ones, it helps the tank look better. :)
Yea i like the cleaner look of course and i would use frag rack but also have a nano 13.5 tank not whole lot of room for frag rack in a good 'acclimation' 'lower light' 'low-medium flow' area lol

Gotcha. I love how coral looks on the rock work, but if you ever need to move the frag… you’re out of luck. :/

Even if you glue the coral to the rock you could always cut it back off in future.
