My tank is 10 months old. The tank is only 12in deep and the light is 10.5in above the water. The NavaReef has preset light setting and intensity in 5% increments they blue ones are Blue+white blue and a little white and deep blue. I am doing 30% intensity of the blue and a tiny bit of white since my controller stopped working.
What are your parameters? It’s a little hard for me to see exactly what that first coral is (anacropora or a montipora of some sort?). The second one looks like a cyphastrea, and the last one is a blue sympodium.I recently got these three corals under a NavaReef 65 light. There is two SPS on the right and a LPS on the left. There is also a fire shrimp and damsel. HOB is on left side
The one all the way to the left is a Seiriatopora, the middle one i believe to be a yellow fever montipora, the last one is a star spike coral. I will test my parameters when I’m home. I do not have a PAR tester. Is the wavemaker placed correctly? It’s angled upward slightly toward the backWhat are your parameters? Anacropora and montipora need strong flow like most sps, but they typically don’t need as much light. Mine grow just fine in moderate lighting (150-200 par), but you can acclimate them to higher par intensities (250+). I see polyp extension which is good. It may not be getting enough light right now.
Cyphastrea are not your typical sps. They like low-moderate light (50-100 par) low to moderate flow. I have mine in a cave where it gets about 60 par and very little flow.
Sympodium like moderate lighting (100-200 par), but they like flow (just as much as the majority of sps in my experience).
