Coral ID - Mycedium?

Hi there,
Can you please help ID this coral (pics below)
I’ve got it some time ago from a bulk import with other “unusual for our market” corals. He grows pretty well by encrusting and also it’s creating little branch’s. At first I thought it was some kind of chalice but now I’m leaning for Mycedium.

Not to aggressive but still has the ability to overgrow other corals.

Perhaps I’ll put it to work fighting a Xenia outbreak I’ve got... :-)

Ok.
But seriously I’m considering using my Diploastrea to get ride off the xenias. The Diploastrea has killed a more than 20 heads caulastrea in one week...

Sounds like an effective xenia removing brain coral! They can be extremely agressive.
