Can someone tell me what this coral is? Also it doesn't seem to be growing or opening up? What are the lighting/flow requirements?

Where in the tank is it now? Looks like an upset goniopora possibly. Low light and low to moderate flow. Put it in the sandbed and see if it improves :)

Here's a better picture to show where it's at but it has been the same for weeks now. I'm using a aqualife t5/coral+ and blue+ with 2 xr15's using the wwc modified AB program. I can move it to the sand but it's only about a couple inches from there now? Do you think it still might help?

Lower the coral towards bottom and reduce the whites a bit. Also try a feeding.I say towards the bottom as on the bottom, it may acquire sand that will further irritate it
Its either goniopora or alveopora

Worth a shot. Put it partially under a ledge to help shadow it.

Thats exactly what I did I was thinking the same thing, that shelf has a little shadow from the top shelf. Probably hard to see from the pic.

I glued it to a frag plug so it's not sitting directly on the sand. So give it a couple weeks? And if no change try another spot?
