Recently picked this up from my LRS. He told me what it was called but I forgot. It’s like a leather coral.
Can anyone tell me what coral this is?

It's a carnation coral - dendronepthea (sp??) and they are non-photosynthetic. They are definitely expert level corals, so your best bet is make sure to feed it as much as possible and keep an eye on your water parameters. They are beautiful though :)

carnation coral also called cauliflower coral and can be a difficult specimen to raise. Its recommended for well seeded tanks with ideal water parameters and ULN environment.
Please tell me your tank is NOT new
