Coral ID?

So, not sure if this is the right place for this, but I just picked up this coral for super cheap, and was hoping for an ID.

Kinda hard to tell, is that the coral fully extended or is it closed up, looks possibly like a kenya tree coral if closed up, maybe some species of leather, kind of hard to tell.

It is closed up, I'm guessing since it just got moved into my tank.

After looking it up it looks possible.

After some googling I don't think it is.. But I might just move it to my small isolated rock to be safe..

It still looks the same. No better, no worse. I do know that it's reactive. I did a water change and added some more rock and it shrunk back for about.. Fiveish minutes. Also since shortly after my post here it started having some stringy stuff.

Some soft corals can do that, in which they shed the outter layer of skin, typically leather corals do that.
Might just be excess portective mucus or something

That was what I was thinking looked most like it.
