Montipora capricornis?

That’s a good shout and I did think it could be a plating coral. If it is a SPS then it’ll be my first. My tank is only 3 months old so I’ve only been buying softies and LPS.

I was going to get SPS corals when the tank was more mature

It is a good beginner sps, make sure you are testing your water regularly and keep up with waterchanges, let us know how you get on. :)

Shall do, i already auto dose 3 differing liquid coral food/additives, alk and calcium so that should put me in good stead and I do weekly 16.5 gallon (75 litres) water changes.
