Coral IDs

I orders a couple hammer corals online but the shipping was delayed and they died. The place was great, sent out a replacement shipment with two other pieces I ordered in the interim. I got the order today, and there were 3 extra pieces. :astonished-face:

One was another hammer, the other two I wasn’t sure. The blue one I’m pretty sure is a mushroom but not sure which one, the other eludes me. I’m only starting to get into SPS.

Mushroom for the first, either elephant ear or discosoma most likely. It's hungry.

The second one is really hard to tell... Looks like maybe a Cyphastrea.

I want to say the second one is a green star polyp. Looks like a soft encrusting coral.

Ugh I hope not. I don’t feel like having that take over my tank. Unless I put it on the back black plastic of the AIO

You can let it open and see. I doubt anyone would send a mat of zoas. Cloves would be on a rock , xenia a lil stub. Organ pipes on a rock.

It just leaves me at gsp.

You might be right... Finger for size reference makes it highly plausible.

Looks like zoa colony overgrew off a rock and this is the mat that would have been on the sandbed.

I doubt they made a mistake.... and even if they did I doubt they'd try to collect.... Unless its some shady unknown vendor I would not be worried about contacting them.

Yup, extra hammer frag blue discordia and hells whip gsp. He threw them in to be nice. Lol
