i use salifert test kit for alk and cal. Hmm am I using it wrong?

Oh wow I screwed up this whole time smh. My alk is way high. How do I lower it? I’m fairly new to trying to keep water levels good for corals. So it’s looking like I have 9.3 alk.

I don't personally think 9.3 is all that high. But then again, I recently started a huge controversy on that exact topic. So I will defer to others' responses.
