My plan is to encrust the ugly overflow box. I wish I came up with this idea 2 years ago lol. This should have been started way earlier but hey…all it needs is time.

I’m curious

1) what will happen when the two strains end up meeting?

2) will the growth on them primarily be upwards, or will they grow outwards in all directions? I wasn’t sure where to mount them so I picked middle in case they grow in all directions.[/QUOTE]

I always have this in my systems.
Jacko lepto one of my all time favaorite coral and my systems are mostly sticks, lol.
I picked up this golf ball size one from lfs.
The plan is for my new system is to look similar to my old 120. Lots of colorful sticks this time too.

Dragon soul favia I grew from 1 polyp

“Blowing Goni with yellow on edge”
This is a iron man Goni. The yellow on the edge is natural

“Jabba the hut”
This is a 24k gold acanthophyllia. It’s 7” across and 2.5” tall. When it’s fully inflated during the day it’s a monster coral lol. It looks even better under whites because the accents in the mouth show better

“Green something in sand”
I’m guessing my green Acanthophyllia. It’s 6” across and 2” tall. Next to it is a orange/teal acanthophyllia

Also forgot about this Goni

Oh now I could just cry... No more Tinkerbell goni? (Yes, that's the first one I meant). And yay, I also have a Dragon Soul Favia! It's one of my favorites. There is hope for the future! The acanthophyllia isn't really called Jabba the Hutt, is it? I was kidding.

What I meant by green thing was under your blue zoa, it looks like you use something neon and plastic to offset the colors? Maybe a neon yellow shelf or border, elsewhere?

But now I'm in love with acanthophyllia! (Juuuuust as soon as I look them up!) Momma's got a lot of real estate to cover in the not so distant future!!!

And what is the forgotten goni? I'm always looking for blue!

Thanks! It’s not the biggest in the world (75 gallons), but I enjoy it.
