Oh its bad. Ive done fish netting in Biscayne Bay alone and you dont catch anything. The number of fish deaths, iguana deaths and manatee deaths are threw the roof.

You could drive up from the keys and along the way see hundreds of floating dead fish along the coast.

But i havent been out diving because its been so cold lol...i know, wimp.

Haha hey, im originally from Boston, im use to the cold...but my body has adapted to the tropical weather here in Miami.

But yea im studying marine biology here in miami and its a scary thing to see, all these dead species. Scientists have been pulling dead manatees out and performing autopsies on them. I actually cared for an iguana in my house for 4 days. i found him "frozen" at Seminole Hard Rock lol, picked him up and carried him home. He warmed up in my house, and slowly came back from the dead, basically they wake up from a metobolic frozen coma.

OK, OK, you are off the hook, Boston! :D I trained in San Diego (yup, got dry suit certified, heh!) but of course prefer Miami's water too.

That coldness out there is so crazy. A buddy of mine in Miami sent me a pic of a car that had 'Miami Ice' scraped off the icy windshield!

Yes and its up and down, 40, 80, 60, 82. Fluctuations is what killed a lot of things. for the iguana, poor guys froze up in the trees, and if you watched at night you would see them fall right out of the tree. the next morning the ground was littered with dead iguanas.

Though a lot of ppl said let them die lol cuz their invasive and non-native...but i luv um, i had to.
