Should i let it stay there or try and move it?
Both can and will take over in what seeks like a blink of an eye, so if you like the look of them, you don't have too, but if you don't want your tank to be covered in them, remove them.

If i let it stay there will it harm the chalice?
I am not too sure. I don't think it would directly harm it, though it may block light from the chalice, and it may also grow on top of it, which won't be good. I don't believe either of those corals sting.
