I have a mixed reef tank and am in the search for some coral. I have a hand full of frags in my tank now but am looking for coral for a specific spot in my tank.

in the area I'm looking to add a frag to has about 200-225par and flow is moderate to heavy. Anyone have any suggestions on some easy-moderate care corals that would do well in this area?

I would go walk around my LFS and look for something that catches my eye, after that ask the shop owner what kind of flow and lighting that coral likes. If it fits you found a winner. If LFS is not an option, I like doom scrolling online coral stores. In that case look you can look up the requirements.

And to add a suggestion I would put either a monti cap, digitata or spongode there.

on the SPS side of things,
Easy: Pavona (eg ORA mint), Hollywood stunner
Medium: Green stylophora, green seriatopora, Montipora (green branching or orange capricornis)
Hard: Acropora carduus (Red Dragon), Acropora yongeii (Green slimer)

(I'm a fan of Pocillapora, but many will say stay away from them!)

heres a photo of my tank 8 months after my first fish (blues are way down for this photo)
the are to the right of the purple Stylo is where the 200par is.
