Lowest tide today (0.07 meter), grabbed my gears and off me go. Arrived at site, parked my car and walked straight 500 meter from shore. Water level below my knee, coral reefs exposed. Managed to grab some pictures to share...

interesting.

EDIT : is it illegal to take stuff?

It is illegal if meant for commercial purposes (requires special permit) but you can collect for your aquarium. These specimens (frags) was naturally fragged, it litters the sand bed.

Don't think they are supposed to be exposed to air

He is out of the water anyway, but yeah a couple of seconds shouldn't hurt. Back here local sea gypsy loves it, usually it end up as delicacy if they found it. No worry, he is safe for sure.

Man I’m jealous the $$$$$ i could save living next to you! Keep the pics coming! So are clams easy to spot and a lot around?? Where do you live if I missed that? Thanks for sharing
