Corals Dying and Strange Growth

Well, I’m having a tough time in believing this is bubble algae. The video made it seem “bubble” like because water was caught in the crevasses. It has to be some sort of fungal growth, the only way to describe it is very fine sand when crushing it.

However, noticed something else. Before it become this dark green fluffy mass, a dark red spot forms on the rocks. So first dark red, then fluffy dark green.


Please disregard how dirty the water looks. I Just finished ripping all my acros off the rocks and scrubbing this crap off.
