Corals dying

My hammer and torch coral have been dying. I have noticed that the tissues have gone. There is a white cap that goes over the skeleton and when I take it out of the tank, there’s brown stuff inside underneath the white cap. Is this brown jelly disease what is going on? I do not have a picture unfortunately.

I also had a leather coral in there, but it was starting to die and wasn’t doing well. As it was Dying, could it have put toxin into the water and started killing my corals? Is that the possibility too?

Pictures under white light would be helpful for sure. What are your water parameters? Do you use RODI for making saltwater and top off?

Can’t take a picture already throughout the dead coral.

Nitrite: .3 mg/l
Ph: 7.2
Alkalinity 177ppm
