I have and like the Milwaukee salinity tester. But even digital ones need to be calibrated periodically.

I use a coral life plastic hydrometer it’s never done me wrong :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: I don’t own anything else to check salinity but my Apex and if I go off that we’re all doomed!

I still use mine from my first saltwater tank. Purchased in 2006. Rinse with freshwater before every use and watch for bubbles. Consistent.
