Corals Without Coralline Algae??

Get a small piece of live rock and add to the tank with coralline on it. I have 50% caribsea and 50% live rock. The caribsea fades away over time. Most of it is covered in coralline now from my live rock.
Stable parameters = coral and coralline growth.
My tank is 7.5 months old. If you have coralline growth your corals will grow. For me its a sign of stable tank parameters.

Yes that’s a good idea. Don’t waste your money on coralline in a bottle. If you have snail shells covered, it is already in the tank :)

it's not a waste bro, please at least be level headed about it (not biased). it's a very effective way to introduce coralline spores all over your tank and to do it with known species of coralline.

check your alkalinity level. once I started dosing kalkwasser, my alkalinity stabilized and now I'm growing coralline algae all over my rocks
I am dosing Sodium Bi-Carb of my alk. When I last checked it was 9.3. I have kalk but havent dosed it. What are your recommendations beside the sodium bi-carb? Also my ph is 7.9-8

I have zero coralline algae but I have corals that grow left and right...

I have seeded it with just about everything and it still wont go
Me too, used ARC Reef, three bottles three months ago. Just starting to get a few purple dots. My LPS are doing well.

So I took some photos of my snails today. Coralline on there for sure. They have been in the tank for almost 2 month. The issue I am having with identifying more on the rocks is I used Caribsea Life Rock and it has the purple and pink colors on it. confusing me. LOL.

Definitely that is actively growing and healthy looking coralline algae on the snail and din the upper left corner. I wouldn't bother with buying any. Get some corals in that tank!
