Seems everybody has had problems with almost the same corals. Maybe we should make this a list for newbies to watch for :)

Mushrooms! Too aggressive, not a problem if they didn't spread so fast.

Kenya trees my gf added while I was in alabama. Been pulling them out as fast as I can. Going to break the rock there attached to when I move tanks, so dont gave any in,new one.

+1 on the stinking GSP. I cant get rid of this crap either, just appears other places...

Aiptasia!!! You all know you did it when you first started in the hobby..."oooo, look at that cool hitchhiker! I wonder if it'll grow if I feed it".

Purple Nepthia ... it deposited babies all over the biocube and I bleached the rocks just to make sure it went away.

i like all my corals, thats why i do my search before i buy anything. i love xenias what is everyone talking about. if you guys dont want them send them to me. i love them.

I was fortunate enough to have never had an aptasia hitchhiker! So I was never like oohhhhh!!! look!!! I was that was with the vermetid snail that came on a rock and the yellow porites!

Haha, and after they spread, their next thread was...how do I get rid of this Aiptasia? haha. I keep a matted filefish in my frag tank, and drop him in my display when I start to see aiptasia. Has worked out great.

GSP looks awesome when isolated on a rock. My buddy had a fairly short rock as an island, with the GSP covering the entire thing. Was pretty slick looking.

Well if it wouldnt break off babies into other parts of the tank it would be, mine drops babies though.

Elegance coral. Cant keep it alive. should be left in the ocean.
Green button polyps. started with one now have hundreds.

I just have a rule now, that nothing goes into a tank unless I would be happy with it being the only thing in there.

That being said, I also work pretty hard to island stuff.

Mushrooms...on my first tank.
