Correct citric acid?

Just picked up some citric acid from Walmart to clean my pumps with. Before I do I just want to make sure it’s ok to use. Is this the right stuff? Not sure about the 2% silicon dioxide in the ingredients

I don't know that Wallyworld overcharges... just selling it packed for a different kind of customer. Ball packs it for canners. You can make a TON of jelly with 14oz of Citric Acid! Using it as a cleaner, you're going to go through that little bottle in no time. Your typical home jelly maker wouldn't use 5lb of citric acid in their entire lives!

Oh that makes sense! I put all my pumps in 2 gallons of water and had to use the whole container which only held 1.5 cups!

i mixed to 0.75 cups per gallon and ran the pumps in the water for about 2 hours and cleaned with a toothbrush
