Correct flow pattern in tank

Whatsup guys, I have the Reefer XL525 60x22x23/ I hve 2 gyres on the back wall spaced evenly on either side of the receiving box. i have them on about 50 power dropping down to 30 at night. On each side wall of the tank i have debao dmp 40. I have those pumps off because thats where this question comes in. if i have them all running, with the wave makers on the side wall mess up the gyre flow? in terms of debris making it to the intake box.
I was also thinking about 2 small wave makers on both sides of intake box at the bottom facing the side walls to keep flow back there behind the rockwork.
Thoughts? any suggestions will be helpful.

Waves continue in the direction they are headed until they encounter hard substrate. The waves from the side should interact with the gyre and cause some turbulence.

I think some folks use flake food (and similar items) or calcium carbonate and dump some in front of the pumps to observe the flow.

FLow is more theoretically difficult then applications need to be in our systems. Turn them on and observe.

You can swim fish to death with too much flow, if there are no calm areas for them to retreat to. If they are always retreated, then you have to much. If the sand doesn't settle, or piles up in one spot, again too much.
