Cost effective ways of lighting large 2m x 2m 08m high reef pond

These dimensions seem off/odd to me… only 6ft front to back and side to side but 26ft tall??


I’m gonna guess that maybe the 08m was supposed to be 0.8meters or 2.62 ft


Cause that “pond” would be as tall as my house

You are talking 32,000,000 Cubic Cm, or 8,453.5 gallons. That is JUST the display.

Sounds like no matter what you do you will have to go industrial strength on this build. A few powerheads are a sneeze in a hurricane compared to what you are going to need.

Around 700 US Gallons or 2,700 Litres

Anyone have any experience with this light? Just found it browsing AliExpress and thought it looked to be a pretty good knock off of the XR30 AliExpress A8SE I tried searching but nothing came up unless I was searching wrong

Did you ask them if custom are safe for coral?
I asked them and was told to pick one from there range selection due to them been made differently

Thought I'd update the thread. The EZ pond is ordered and should be with me some time in January
I went for the Ai blades in the end I have ordered 10 of the 39" grow ones so far and will see how I get on with those over the pond.
Pretty much just waiting on a few bits at the moment but the fish room is coming together so once the pond arrives should be straight forward! Exciting!

Just saw this, hopefully the blades treat you well! Would recommend the amazonas, im surprised orphek didn't point you towards them. Heres a video from tg
