I’ve read up on their care. Is there another fish I could add, or am I just flat out done?

There are some folks who have successfully grown all types under it and +1 on checking fluval forums. I wanted something more controllable than the stock light so I went with a kessil a160 but you don't have to.

Check out a scooter blenny. They have a similar swimming pattern and from what I hear are easier to keep. You may be able to find a dragonette that is converted to prepared food, but they are grazers and your system may be too small even then.

Thank you! I am a bit disappointed that I can’t have a mandarin though.

Only thing I had trouble with on the stock evo light was an acro. Everything else I tried worked well. You can never have too much coral, just be careful about what types you mix. Leathers will do chemical warfare, so don’t dump 5 in like I did. Also watch for sweeper tentacles from stony corals.

I have one in my 40. He's a slow grower so there may be hope, but go with caution and a plan if it starts turning sideways. You could grow pods on the side and "dose" them on the regular, find a smaller one that won't eat all the pods in a day and over time get him on prepared food, get a small one and upgrade tanks when he grows. Where there a will there a way.
