Have had my citron goby for a couple weeks no problems. Noticed some white spots on him. Have been there for around a day. My lfs qts fish before selling so I wasn’t sure if it was. (I also don’t have a qt so if so what’s the best route)

Yes this is ich and fish and any other in the tank with it will need to be treated with coppersafe for a Full 30 day at 2.25 ppm.
What other fish are in tank with it?
Display tank will have to be fallow (fishless) for 6-8 weeks to assure parasites die off without a host fish

It does look like ich, but for better confirmation, try retaking the photo under white lights.
I got the picture. There’s been some black on the tail. Do not know if that has anything to do with it. Was told it was stings from anemone by lfs. Hasn’t healed in weeks.

IMO - there are two things going on here; the black spots on the tail do seem to be from coral or anemone stings. However, mixed in with that are white spots that does look like ich. If it is ich, this fish and any fish in with it will need to be treated in a hospital tank with Coppersafe.
