Anybody have any tips for counter balancing a fixture after adding just 1 light bar? I added a ReefBrite XHO to my hanging fixture, now it’s tilted way forward.

I have a temporary bag of sand suspended on the other side, but obviously looking for a permanent solution.

Any tips would be appreciated!

How do you have it hanging?
On my ATI T5 fixture you can just slide a little cable through the locking mechanism to make it level.

I usually do something with the cord to slightly pull it down... currently a spring clamp onto the back of the stand. You can use lead tape with the sticky side.

thanks, i'll give one of those a try. Was thinking about lead tape, but didn't know how well the adhesive would stay when coupled with the heat of the fixture. would hate to have lead tape weights fall in to the tank.
