I was looking through the reef tonight with a flashlight after the lights were off and noticed these tiny "barnacle" looking things on the side glass. Are these ok or do they need to be scraped off as they become accessible? After this discovery I was looking in the refugium and see these little "shrimp" looking critters throughout the refuge. I am pretty sure these guys are fine but wanna make sure and wanna see if I can get a positive ID on them. They look like little shrimp and are crawling all through the cheato. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have hundreds if not thousands. They're fine. I have two clams by the way.
The barbacle things could be baby snails or something I can't think the name of right now. Lots of help I know. And now it's bugging me because I do know.
Anyway. If you've been seeing these for some time now and no ill effects in your system, I wouldn't worry.

Tank is only a few months old so starting to see so much new thing. I really love this hobby. Thanks for the input.

Limpets! That might be what they are. Hard without a picture. And not a pest.
