Hello. I got ten new crabs this past weekend. One had a little bump on his shell. Today I noticed the bump had a mouth. Lol!
What is this?

No worries with them. They are harmless filter feeders. Hopefully they live, but if they do not, they will not hurt anything if they die.

They are barnacles. Just opened video on my computer. You can see the fan come out to filter food in the video.

Agree barnicals for sure harmless wish I could get them to survive in my tank they are cool with the fan thing they use to eat
