Hi, I got some live rock from Tampa and it had quite a few hitchhikers. I was able to fish out 3 very clearly hairy/aggressive gorilla crabs that are now housed in another tank. But this one looked different, and hasn't been aggressive. Lately though he has been deshelling and growing. He is quite large now. He does have black tipped claws, I do believe he is likely a gorilla crab. But, as I mentioned, I found and caught 3 other gorilla crabs who are clearly gorilla crabs. This one deshells to grow, hasn't been aggressive so far, and doesn't look like or act like the 3 gorilla crabs I have in the other tank. Thoughts?

My best guess is a Florida stone crab. You’ll eventually want to get it out of there. I had a few come in on my rock too but mine were tiny.
