I love kessils, but I didn't want to have to add another controller. My apex el isnt 0-10v controllable without purchasing another module. And after seeing the Hydra 26's over @4FordFamily and @HotRocks tanks, and my uncle just put a pair of prime HDs over his brand new tank, I wanted to give them a try

The frame is done! Who doesnt love a night of working in the garage amirite?
I brought the tank up to measure and test fit. Heres a picture from the front of the back painted. I apologize for all the dust

And heres the wood all cut into the lengths needed

Unfortunately i was cruising right along so I didnt get any progress pictures, but heres the done deal!

@Crabs Mcjones, based off ur 40b which was simply one of the best 40b's I've seen, I'm sure you will be just as successful in this new upgrade. Exciting times when the stand comes together and it starts to paint the picture of what is to come.

So I took some sandable/paintable wood filler and filled in all the screw holes. Probably not necessary. But I think it helps give it a more continuous seamless look. Also filled in a couple small gaps where two boards come together. Going to sand it down this week hopefully when it warms up a little bit
