Cracked Duncan

3 head Duncan received with cracked skeleton on one head four days ago. Other two heads had been opening up for first couple of days but not as happy now.
Should I try to remove the cracked head, glue the skeleton or just leave it alone?
Any help appreciated.

I would leave it alone, touching it can stress it further. It is normal for a new coral to take time to acclimate to the tank. As long as water parameters and lighting is close to correct it should be fine. Duncans are pretty hardy.

Hi! Yes, agreed with above. Also, Duncan’s are known to occasionally throw hissy fits for no apparent reason and close for sometimes weeks. As long as the skin on the skeleton has good color I wouldn’t worry too much. If the cracked head dies, a new one will soon grow in its place :)

Following up on this. Duncan’s are looking great!!
The one head with cracked skeleton (front side lowest head) appears to have shorter tentacles on one side of the head but overall looks healthy.

Feed it once or twice a week, they are easy to spot feed and they respond very well!
