I cleaned the glass a week ago. Took the rack down to do it. So in 7.5 days this monti cap grew that much onto the glass! I'm siked, assuming I can remove it without hurting it. Lol

Nope. Gonna wait till someone wants it. Might even move the rack and leave it. :)

I don't even want to scrape the glass when there's baby snails on there. I can't imagine the angst with a nice coral.

Lol, I'm the same same neueotic, over-protective, worrytoodamnmuch tank "parent" as well and get nervous scraping even where my xenia patch is my overflow so I can understand the angst :)

That's AWESOME how it's done that. Did it just inadvertently happen to the frag in the rack spot closest to the glass?

In just the past few months my red Monti has found some steroid supply or something because I feel like I can notice the growth sometimes even just after a few days but as of yet haven't been ably to get it on the glass like that. I LOVE the look of plating Monti on the walls but haveny had the guts to glue any to the glass. Any thoughts or suggestions???

BTW, very impressive 40b set-up. I'm in thr process of setting up a pair of them plumbed into my cube and they were both gonna be exclusive frag tanks but after showing my fiance your tank she gave me the green light to do something fun in one of them :):)

I owe you a lot for that, hahaha

Glad I could help. Lol yeah I put it there and the edge was just touching the glass. In a week or less it grew flat against the glass and was pretty attatched. Sadly my five year old grabbed one of the rack magnets and the rack fell sideways and pulled it off. Came off clean. I totally would have left it there and cleaned around it. I glued a frag disk to my back wall with a toadstool on it. And glued setosa to my overflow box. As well as my red planet grew onto the overflow. Just helps blend the box. I like it.
