Hey all I’m Brandon. Active duty Army stationed at Fort Stewart, GA. Been in the hobby like 6 years and currently have a 125 gallon mixed reef setup in August 2018.

Cycling tank 1 August 2018

It’s a 125 long 72x18x23. Dual overflows that are hard plumbed to a 40 breeder sump. The overflows drain into filter socks and a jebao protein skimmer. The 2nd compartment has bio media/heater, and the 3rd compartment has the return pump (jebao dct 8000) and a UV sterilizer. BRS dual reactor with carbon/phosguard. Lighting is black box LED’s x3. Flow is Jebao pp15/pp8 connected to ice cap battery backup. It is all controlled by an Apex Jr.

January 2019 work tempo really picked up and I made a decision to start selling my corals and go fish only so it could be easier for the family to take care of the tank while I’m gone during field training events. After selling off a couple prized possessions I realized I couldn’t do it. I equally love the fish and coral part of the hobby and will just need to mentor the wife and oldest son on reef husbandry in my absences.

January 2019 after unfortunately selling some of my prized pieces and adding a couple new ones. As soon as I get back home consistently I plan on working on the stocking list fish/corals
