Cristata splitting

My up till now happy fluffy crista now looks ticked. Is this what they look like when they are splitting? My hammer is full and fluffy and all my parameters are spot on.

Looks likely. Especially based on the flesh separating at the back end.

Yep, they look angry when they split. Especially with that few of heads. As it grows you won't even notice when it splits

Torches can touch only a matter of time if one gets ticked off and starts to sting

Sometimes they don’t sometimes they do each animal is different
