Looks good! make sure you leave room to clean the glass and take into account your corals are going to grow outward from the structure. I’ve had situations where the magnet I used to clean the glass would “frag” some corals for me because they were to close to the glass.

Thanks for the suggestions etc all the rock leaves plenty of space to get a scraper/magnet around them.re:the main rock in middle i run 2 lights and there is no issue with shading. I had this tank running up until a month or so ago and then the red sea failure happened :( hence the reseal and strengthening glass as seen in pics.Question i still have the sand from previous set up that i used can i reuse this or does it need rinsing?

Rinse in a plastic container until the water runs clear.

Would be best to start with new live sand imo

Should test your lights against that scape. That plate may create some major shadow depending on the types of lights you are using.

I like the design. It looks good. But I did something similar to the middle part before. I eventually had to redo it because I liked to fill up every single spot in the tank and with the shadow casting down, I had a hard time finding something that could fill up that darker spot. It can be a good place for things like dendro though 😁.

Move the entire tank farther away from the back wall. I am always frustrated trying to squeeze in there to clean/ maintain/ add powerheads.

my first tank I had quite close to the back wall and immediately regretted that.

This time around I placed my fist sideways between the tank and the wall for more room. It is probably double the space I had, but has made a huge different.

Aquascape looks good. I might toy with the idea of turning the right side rock 60-90 degrees and laying it on its side against the middle flat rock. Remove a bit of its upright look and give you some more surface area for corals.

I like what you did there, to reseal the bottom of the tank, like eurobrace; may I ask why you didn't go around the entire perimeter?(it's not too late!) And what color is the silicone, clear or black?

I would eurobrace the bottom of any rimless tank. Even brand new, should have came that way(imo)

Dendro = dendrophyllia (a sort of non-photosynthetic LPS, so it does not need light but it does need to be fed, which can be challenging 😁). I'm including a link that I just found on here of the sort that is normally called 'fat head dendro' below. (It looks similar to Sun Coral, which is also nonphotosynthetic as well, but sun coral has smaller polyps and is not any easier to keep either, but cheaper usually.)
