This is for my 57 gallon rimless which is 36"x18"x20" and this sump is going to be 30"x13"x15" and that is including the reservoir

Now I need to fit everything under my tank including a reservoir for an ATO

the skimmer and return are round up to the nearest inch.

It will be 15" tall (does it need to be taller. it can be)

first chamber is 13"x10"and second is 16"x10"

the reservoir is an L so I can have easy access while filling it up

I'd put some more baffles in there on the return side. You'll fill the middle up as you go along with GFO, carbon, pellets, etc. Or at least I have lol.

Yep, just keep in mind that the little area where your return pump is going to be where you'll see your evaporation levels. So you'll need a ATO or you'll have issues with the pump running dry if you aren't up on your top off regimen.

Are you planning on having a refugium at all? Looks like you have some extra space for one in the future. Another thing to consider, if you have extra height to play with, is an ATO reservoir under the sump. I have my sumps elevated in bot my tanks with small-flat Rubbermaid containers under them. Aqua lifter pumps handle pumping the water up. That would give you even more room in the sump.

I would agree a 3 chamber sump seems to work best. One for incoming water, the second for a fuge or just LR and the third for the return. That way any of the junk washed off the LR doesn't necessarily end up in the DSP.

Ok Deep Blue got back to me today and they said that the dimensions on the interior of the stand are 34"x15"x28.5"

so Im thinking the sump will be 33"x14"x???

how tall would you make it?

Probably 15 or 16", but how wide is the door. You want to be able to take your skimmer out if there is a problem.

ok cool ya i was thinking 16" tall but good point. im not sure how big the side opening is. they have a series 1 and a series 2 stand I measured the series two but I am getting the series 1

I know the series 2 side door opening is 13" and that is rounded down. so I imagine the series 1 is the same.

ok so 33"x13"x16" is the new sump size as of now lol
