Please pay no attention to the scratches in the front glass. I have a new critter I spotted and I'm not sure what it might be. It's to the left of my new baby snail.

What might it be?

That's a Hydriod, not something you want in your system as the will bother corals.

In most cases yes.
Keep a eye out and try to suck them out.
