Can anyone identify this? It appears to be a small type of snail, and I'm not sure if it's a potential pest or not. I've never noticed it bothering anything, but I don't have a large number of them (yet). They are about 1 to 2 mm in size.

Got a pic in water?
No, I don't. I had to get some long tongs to pull that one out. I only see them when the lights go out, and they are very small. I'll try to snag some other pictures. I have some small money cowries, and I wonder if it's possible they are breeding and these are babies. The coloration and shell shape strikes me as different than the typical snail babies I see. Of course, it may not even be a snail at all !
