Juat looked at my ReefWave 25 this morning and saw these things seeming growing out of them, into the flow. They seem to have a long tubular body, with tentacles at the end that extend 1/2" (1 CM)

Yeah.... Don't think that's it. the hydroid pictured is long, but it's spiky throuought it's length. Mine has a long tubular body and rhwn some tentacles at the end.
