This has been a long time coming I didn't mean to start this thread for a few months yet but I woke up with a touch of flu and in trying to go back to sleep with some rum and touch of ginger I ended up feeling like crap but energized so I decided to get this thing running.

I won't include deliver pics and all that despite the size as everyone else has it and if you're here you've seen it if you haven't there's plenty of dead threads including.

Forklift operation has nothing to do with reefing and that's what this thread is about. The tank and stand have been setup almost a month now dry... yes dry.

I'm not getting into that story in this post it's in my history but I have a 55 gallon? That has survived he'll and even a zoa is still with me despite 5 months of virtually no life support.

My reefer 200xl right now is attached. 4 maybe 5 cherry shrimp survived the madness. 1 1spot foxface(yes I know that tank was too small for ot) 2 gladiator clowns, a yellow blend? I forget it's name? Black cap Bassey and to my greatest surprise pistol shrimp. This tank was broken and rebuilt 4 times in 6 months spetlnt the entirety of its life on very little life support through all of Florida as summer and this remains.

I cannot express how excited I am to move them to their new home for all they have suffered

So getting it filled was a chore. I have a 75gpd ro/di from brs into a 24g brute.... display is prob about 290g of the 210 at this point and I've started mixing salt now.

I had 2 35g buckets of rs coral pro salt I was slowly adding the first basket got half way saw clear water said screw adding 8-16oz a time dumped 2nd half of bucket in evenly spread... hour later mostly clear just needed to stire up the bottom a little... said screw it. Dumped 2nd bucket of 35g coral pro salt right in(evenely)

I'll stir up(move powered to bottom) once this settled.

The display water volume is around 190g at the moment and not bothering the over flow which I still have empty.

I wanted to get the display situated and then slowly flood it into the sump to very slowly introduce the rock from my tank pictured above into the cycle.

As I said I have the flu so may not be talking sense or may be trying to be too much of a scientist while not elaborating on my hypothesis enough... but who cares? It's a 1000L build come join me!

Chinese in the Armour Ted's. The sump extension connector is leaking on the back end(of course) only at the top of the union so had to almost fill 100% to notice it. And I have thr flu. So rushing to drain the sump-thankfully I've kept display below the overflow despitite initial flood test of the overfloe(which is fine) makes me happy!

Once I heal up and fix that leak some updates should start rolling.

Nice sales going on right now picked up 4 mp40s, may continue with the gyres(if I can figure out why 1 isn't working) and use the ecotecs to supplement or take over I dunno but at 25% off for 4 I was originally planning to be my need all at least first first 2 years-options are nice....

Now if could just get a few more pieces to go on sale... display still looks the same as it's not connected to the sump. I am still working out how I want all that plumbed(and ensuring no leaks)

I did drop a few rocks from my smaller tank into the display to seed some if I can intend to slowly incorporate more.
