Your tank is looking good, nice job. I seen you and a few people mentioning sumps overflowing, the way to prevent that is just install a check valve (water can only flow one way through it) on your return line. If power goes out or pump ever stops for any reason valve closes and cant siphon the water from your tank back to your sump.
Hey there isn't nothing wrong with a canister filter they get the job done as long as you keep up on the cleaning of them. But for future reference that will take care of part of your sump leak problem if you do ever decide to go back down that path.thanks , I had a bad leaking problem on the last sump I attempted and couldn’t find any true plumbing help so I just skipped the sump altogether and did an Fx6 canister filter that runs my polishing pad and carbon
