I recently purchased an 80G "cube" (32x24x24) from SC Aquariums.
Never having a cube before, I realize my sump area will be a tad bit smaller than my last, so I need to get creative on how to plumb / hook everything up. Trying to avoid mounting anything outside the wooden stand / sump area.

Would anyone mind posting pictures of their sump area? Like to see what other members have done.

I purchased a Fiji Cube 20 gallon sump that fits perfectly under my 45G cube (24"x24"):

Thats how my sump fits in my cabinet as well. I was hoping for some pictures on how everything is routed / mounted / plumbed. With little room to work with, it will get cramped, quickly.

I have a few large reactors that I'm sure I will need to downsize and get the mini reactors. So that will free up some space also.

Sorry. Still purchasing stuff and haven't got that far down the road yet.

But I hear you it's going to be tight once the skimmer and electrical equipment are in there. I'm thinking of keeping my ATO tank near the stand instead of inside it to free up some room.

Still in the process of setting up the tank.

My return pump fits nicely with a little room to spare. Also added an ATO to the return chamber.

Plumbing it has been pretty easy and straightforward. Completed dry fitting the plumbing:

Man, I'm not sure if I can recommend it yet, but my current build is a pull out sump and it allows you to cram the cabinet full, because you don't need to leave room for arms and skimmer removal clearance. I'm on track to have a full apex, along with trident and dos, as well as a full sized skimmer, 5g ATO, dosing containers and refugium. All in a 24x24" footprint stand.
