Well.....I really liked the Cubic Jelly tank when I first saw it, and got excited right away about the great design. With Moon jellies being propagated in many Countries, I wanted to give this a go right away. I started importing pallets of them, and introduced them to our hundreds of (Sea Dwelling Creatures) customers as well as the local Los Angeles based market. After two attempts, we got the holding tank right for maintaining captive raised tropical moon jellies. We finally had a combination of Aquarium and warm-water jellyfish that we believed would have respectable life span in captivity, as well as a very affordable price:)

After successfully keeping a very small group of moon jellies (Squishy and Ricky Bobby) for 10 months, I was ready to try converting the aquarium into a small reef tank. I had been contemplating this from the very first sight I saw them.

Kind of bringing me back to my roots.....I decided to keep it simple, and elegant.....I wanted a "species" tank.

Im actually a bit nervous about this specie, but Im giving it my very best for the next 30 days and hope they all settle in well.

The only adjustment I made to the aquarium....well actually one adjustment and one change....I adjusted the water flow to full flow, and added a mini-heater.

Would love to get your opinions........I know I could add some zoas, inverts and other small fish etc....but I really want to keep this very typical of an actual cardinal habitat.....well maybe minus the long spine urchin:)

Enjoy, and thanks for welcoming me to R2R!

Eric
