Curly que anemone

Will the Curly Que eat fish? I have an elongate dottback as the only fish in my 13.5 gallon and was wanting to get some Curly Que nems for the fun of it

They’re more of a docile anemone. Of course most anemone will grab what they can get- curlique a little less aggressive

If that is what I have I believe you will be ok. Just spot feed every now and then and they will get everything else they need from the tank...

That looks like a baby Rhizotrochus. They are Non-photosynthetic and need to be fed.

YES! Thank You! I’ve posted before but didn’t get a ID from anyone. Thought it was a Curly Q but something kept telling me it wasn’t. Some Curly Q pics looks similar but most do not. So on another Rock I got a bigger one that has 3 babies I believe under it.
Are these Rhizotrochus also?
As they get bigger does their disk color up?

I have a hard time distinguishing Rhizo's from Balanophyllia but it looks like they are all either of those.

I don't think they would color up (unless already colored) because they are Non-photosynthetic and don't have Zooxanthellae.

They do have blue/green specks under the blues. They are some of my favorite hitchhikers I’ve gotten/noticed so far.
