I'm trying to build a custom tank on customaquarium, the base price will come with 3/8 thick glass, I don't know if that will be strong enough to handle about 70G ( 36Wx24Wx20H). I know when they have that option, it means you can do that. But could there be a chance of bowed edges ?
Anyone have experience with this ?

For those dimensions 3/8 will be fine.:)

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you know when thick enough is thick enough? Are there standards?

TIA,

Cindy

This is why I asked. I have a 20G with 3/8 glass. I think that 70G would need something thicker to support that water volume
