Cutting an acrylic sheet?

Would it be ok to cut a 1/4 inch acrylic sheet with a jigsaw? I am building my sump and need to cut it for the baffles. Any comments are needed/welcomed. Thank you!

I used to get special blades i dont anymore :) you need something with medium teeth. PM troyle and he will give you the exact # from HD to get.
