Hello,

Has anyone cut Marco Rocks with a hack saw to create a flat edge? Do they crumble?

Thanks

There will be some crumbling but you can cut a flat side. The crumbling isn't significant.

They are hard as, well, rock. I once tried to use power drill with masonry bit to do some holes on them for scaping. I gave up after like three holes. Takes forever to get through even with power tool.

Good tips!

I may just have to settle for cementing a series of smaller, baseball-sized pieces to form a flat(ish) base. I'm looking to do a 14-16" column that forks into two branches on the end. That flat spot would be the base.
